Tucker Joins Alex Clark to Talk MAHA, Marriage, Parenting, Life Goals
Issue #308 | Because he's awesome
Hello and Happy Happy Monday!
Following his rousing speech Friday night in Tampa at the Turning Point USA Student Action Summit, Tucker shifted gears to spend some time with Alex Clark on her enjoyable ‘Culture Apothecary’ podcast.
I’m new to the show, but it’s definitely one I’m going to watch on YouTube, or maybe listen via podcast. I love the ‘health and wellness’, and each guest provides their own remedy to heal a sick culture - physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Of course Tucker is a great speaker and terrific host of his show, but he’s also … ahem… awesome as a guest. Always honest, open and forthright on a variety of subjects.
This episode is relaxed and stress-free, but they still cover a lot of ground about Tucker — his life, work, family, politics and more.
Tucker is very candid with Clark on topics such as: child rearing, Jeffrey Epstein, marriage ups and downs, Elon Musk and President Trump’s falling out, his wife’s reaction to being fired by Fox News, why he didn’t talk politics with his kids, benefits of nicotine, and men struggling with feelings of jealousy when a new baby steals your wife’s attention.
It’s a full menu of great conversation and quite enjoyable.
Of Note
This is literally ‘of note’ because I added a Substack Note earlier today about Tucker’s comment to what Naftali Bennett (the former Prime Minister of Israel) posted on X.
Tucker’s speech in Tampa Friday at the Turning Point USA Student Action Summit generated plenty of headlines, specifically his comments that Jeffrey Epstein was working for Israeli intelligence services.
“It’s extremely obvious to anyone who watches that this guy had direct connections to a foreign government. No one’s allowed to say that that foreign government is Israel, because we have been somehow cowed into thinking that’s naughty,” he said Friday night.
He then went on to assert his claim, adding that: “There’s nothing antisemitic about saying that. There’s nothing even anti-Israel about saying that.”
There’s already been plenty of push-back against Tucker’s comments — notably Naftali Bennett, who had a few thoughts on the matter.
“The accusation that Jeffrey Epstein somehow worked for Israel or the Mossad running a blackmail ring is categorically and totally false. Epstein’s conduct, both the criminal and the merely despicable, had nothing whatsoever to do with the Mossad or the State of Israel.
Epstein never worked for the Mossad. This accusation is a lie being peddled by prominent online personalities such as Tucker Carlson pretending they know things they don’t.
They just make things up, say it with confidence and these lies stick, because it’s Israel. There’s a vicious wave of slander and lies against my country and my people, and we just won’t take it anymore.”
Then Tucker chimed in:
“You “just won’t take it anymore”? Instead of issuing threats on social media, why don’t you sit down for a rational interview on Jeffrey Epstein’s ties to the Israeli government? We’ll reach out to your office this morning.”
Round and round we go.
