Tucker Joins Debut Episode of Emily Jashinsky's New Video Podcast
Issue #299 | Because he's awesome
Emil Jashinsky, a conservative commentator and writer, has debuted a new video podcast — ‘After Party with Emily Jashinsky.’
Part of Megyn Kelly’s MK Media Network, the show will focus on politics, culture and comedy. Kelly’s new media network also features “The Nerve with Maureen Callahan,” “Next Up with Mark Halperin” and “Spot On with Link Lauren.”
For Monday night’s big launch of “After Party with Emily Jashinsky,” it’s no great surprise that they reached out to our man Tucker to be guest #1.
He’s always a top-shelf guest on any show, but with the Israel-Iran story front and center, he brought even more heat to the Jashinsky interview and her show’s maiden voyage.
The appearance on last night’s 10pm show featured his first comments since Trump's Iran actions over the weekend.
Let’s just say Tucker was fired up. He showed up ready for an honest chat about what he said, what he thinks and did not shy away from discussing big topics.
He also did not hold back on Mark Levin, who was on the receiving end of a barrage of insults throughout the interview.
Tucker was spun up from start to finish of their 30-minute chat: A reaction to the breaking news of Trump's ceasefire deal between Israel and Iran, what he thinks about Trump's Iran strikes secret mission, why he thinks Ted Cruz and Mark Levin have been exposed as ‘buffoons’ over their comments during the past week, his refusal to be lectured about ‘America First’ by former NeverTrump'ers, and more.
It was a solid debut for Emily and her new show. Having Tucker lead the way definitely added the exra spice and he delivered.
In Monday’s issue I wondered what was next for Tucker.
One thing we know, by way of the interview, is that he’s going to be less ‘online’ for awhile following the last few weeks at the center of the foreign policy (media) storm, which has been, shall we say, intense.
Tucker mentioned ‘getting offline for awhile,’ and ‘pulling back from the internet for a little bit.’
I think we’d all do well to unplug from time to time, but balance is the key — especially with time spent online.
I know he has a new interview about to arrive which keeps the focus on the middle east, but I wonder if he shifts gears… new battles to fight.
